When training AI models, most of the time is spent on obtaining or creating datasets. In order to mitigate this burden, our HSA KIT helps you where it can, with sophisticated annotations tools, annotation assistants, and even pretrained AI assistants. You can find a selection of our tools on this site.
AI Annotation Assitants
Segment Anything (SAM)
Automatically detect and “cut out” any object, in any image, with a single click.
Will create an output mask that can be increased or reduced with further clicks.
Annotation Assistants
Grabcut Annotation Tool
HSA KIT integrates the image segmentation method Grabcut to a user defined bounding box around the object to be segmented.
It allows the user to mark a rectangular area around the desired object and use the on-device resources to algorithmically segment it.
Automatic Base ROI Detection
Reduce your images to the part with contents. Automatically cuts away empty areas, speeding up later analysis and increasing focus on what’s relevant.
Color Picker Tool
Set included colors, excluded colors and the respective tolerances. Then HSA KIT automatically applies this to the full image, detecting everything within the color range.
Basic Annotation Tools
Rectangle Tool – Areas
Probably our simplest annotation tool, allowing the quick selection of rectangular areas of interest (ROIs).
Rectangle Tool – Objects
It is also possible to make simpler object annotations.
Here the bounding box of an object is annotated as a rectangle and it is not necessary to fully segment individual objects.
Ellipse Tool
Allows the quick annotation of circular or near-circular objects.
Pen Tool
Pen-like free form annotations. Useful for long, slender shapes.
Pen Tool using Nodes
Annotate long, slender shapes by means of connecting points with straight connections of a set width.
Region Annotation Tool
Annotate arbitrary free form shapes by tracing their edges.
Region Annotation Tool with Nodes
Encircle shapes with mostly straight edges by simply clicking on corners along the way.
Fill Holes In Your Annotations
Draw the outline of an object with one tool and use the Fill Hole Tool to fill it in.
Useful for objects with clear outlines that differ significantly from their innards.
